Tangible Interaction blends art, design and technology to create interactive spaces and experiences that spark a sense of wonder. In a hyper-connected world, we can feel more disconnected from each other and our environments than ever before. This Vancouver-based art and design studio is dedicated to creating experiences and products that connect and inspire us in the here and now.
Tangible began in 2006 led by artist Alex Beim. Today, their multidisciplinary team includes graphic designers, industrial designers, sound designers, as well as electronics engineers and software developers. Tangible’s work is global. They have worked with brands such as Ford, Verizon, ESPN, Heineken, Samsung, Nokia, Adidas and MTV; collaborated with large-scale entertainers like Cirque du Soleil, Sensation White, Arcade Fire, Green Day, Coldplay and the Chemical Brothers; and worked locally creating public artworks for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, the City of Richmond, Science World, Capilano Suspension Bridge, the Vancouver Aquarium, Siggraph, and more.
